for a 2 1/2 hour workshop plus Q+A and everything you need to recover your body after having a baby.
Our postnatal recovery care package often looks something like a midwife handing you a leaflet and reminding you to do your squeezes and the GP usually around 6 weeks telling you that you are good to exercise. This isn't good enough!

Who shows you;
- How to do a proper pelvic floor squeeze because it is way more than just a squeeze and often mums switch on some of the muscles in their pelvic floor but not all of them?
- How to heal your stomach muscles that have stretched and separated to allow your baby to grow so they return to their strong functional state?
- How to SAFELY exercise after having a baby because you definitely should not just jump into an exercise class without knowing how because that can make things worse.

Usually, no one.

But this is so vital if we want our bodies to heal fully after having a baby so we can go on to have a strong pelvic floor, core and body that can pick up our children as they get heavier and do all the fun, active stuff that we enjoy into our old age.
pelvic floor
Know how your pelvic floor works with the rest of your body so you can strengthen it and have dry knickers.
core healing
Understand what has happened to your stomach during pregnancy and birth so you can finally feel empowered to heal it.
core strength
Learn how your core (Pelvic floor and stomach muscles) work to support you during exercise so you can finally strengthen and feel confident you are exercising safely for your postnatal body.
pain relief
Have a pelvic floor you feel confident in and a strong core that supports your back and pelvis so you can say goodbye to back and pelvis pain and hello to strength and dry knickers.

Who is this for
You may come to this workshop if you are pregnant. It is so awesome to learn about postnatal recovery during pregnancy; there will be lots that you can implement already to support your postnatal recovery.
You may also come at any stage of your postnatal period. Whether you had your baby a week ago, a year ago or 10! Once postnatal, you are always postnatal and it is exactly the same process to get to strong.

This is for mums only, however, babies in arms are welcome.
This is perfect for you if........

"Make a choice today that your future body will thank you for as it easily carries your toddler
By the end of the workshop you will....
-
Feel super confident that you are doing the pelvic floor squeezes (kegels) the midwife gave you correctly and know what the next steps are to making your pelvic floor strong so you don't end up having to kegel for the rest of your life.

-
Learn that there are two sets of muscles in your pelvic floor (One set at the back of your pelvic floor and one at the front) and learn how to use both sets of muscles. It is common that women do not connect with the muscles around their urethra (where you pee from) during pelvic floor connection. Don't let this be you.

-
Know how to heal your abdominal muscle separation from pregnancy so your core can finally be strong again.

-
Feel confident about what you need to do whilst you exercise to look after your pelvic floor and stomach. So you can stop worrying about exercise and start to look forward to building your pelvic floor, core and your body strong.

-
Have a plan of what to do next time you cough, laugh, sneeze to help your pelvic floor manage the pressure and stop letting pee out.
Still not convinced? Don't just take it from me.....

Delivered by Karen Ellis, an expert in the recovery of your body after having babies and a former midwife.

My mission is to support women to feel strong and powerful in their bodies by delivering to them, the information they should have got in their postnatal care from healthcare professionals.
I want women to feel physically ready for motherhood and adventuring and fully recovered after having a baby so they can enjoy active adventures and make gorgeous memories without worrying about whether their body.
My approach nurtures the female body carefully and safely into exercise. I call bull to the 'get fit quick' and 'bounce back into your pre-pregnancy body' hype and encourage you to nurture your body carefully to strength giving it the time it needs to become strong and stay strong forever.
So, here I am ready to help you build a strong core and body, learn to acknowledge how flaming incredible it is and feel amazing in it.

When you sign up for this workshop you get access to me in person to discuss issues and ask all of your questions!
